This is the first post on the Cloudivore blog.

I’ve been building apps independently for a while now — tools like Heal for booking healthcare appointments and Trip for tracking ferries and flights in real time. Until now, the work spoke for itself through the products. But there are stories behind the decisions, the architecture, and the tradeoffs that don’t fit in a README.

That’s what this blog is for. Expect posts about:

• Building and operating self-hosted apps — the reality of running your own infrastructure
• Python and FastAPI — patterns, performance, and lessons from production
• PWAs and the web platform — shipping mobile-quality experiences without app stores
• Kubernetes in practice — what it’s actually like to orchestrate a personal fleet of services
